Case in point: she dyes her hair black and all of a sudden seems to CARE what other people think of her. She is concerned, for roughly half of the book-about what people think of milf hunter downloads her. And then there is the whole immaturity with David. Sam spends this whole book trying to decide if she is ready to have sex with David. No joke. There is no character development in this book whatsoever-the rest of the characters are flat, including Sam herself. The ending is perhaps the highlight of it all-but it was perhaps all to predictable-one of which resembles the happy go lucky main character learns a big lesson type of thing that Mean Girls the movie had in it.But what really strikes me is the author's opinion of teens and politics. Gen-X has come and gone, replaced by a generation that has, according to many major news sources (I read the paper-it's a good way to suck up to a professor when writing essays) rejected much of the Democrat cause.
