The 60 affidavit days was the minimum so that the man might have treatment on day 61. If there was affidavit a chance to take this man and keep him from doing this again, then, yes, it is the right sentence. It was subsequent to that when the Vermont Dept of Corrections affidavit reclassified the man as "high-risk", at which point the judge changed his sentence accordingly. And not only did the man rape the girl, but the girl's parents allowed him to sleep in the same bed as her for years. There is more here than you're willing to look at. I know you prefer your opinions predigested for you and spat in your mouth from Mother Robin O'Reilly, but those are indeed the facts of the case. |
