Some of the women wanted to help women find alternatives such as adoption. Some of the women felt that it was not up to them to decide what others should do. I admit I was more drawn to the group that was about choice. I wish no one ever had to make reproductive health such a terrible decision and I do not know if I could do it. With an unwanted pregnancy, it is almost always the best of the lot of poor solutions. I once saw a documentary on adoptees searching for their birth mothers. One man was upset because after his search, she refused to meet with him. She finally had to tell him that he was the product of an incestuous rape.
