The way I viewed things in high school is different than how I view things now that I'm about to graduate from college. But generally I've got the same gripes -- individuality is more discouraged than ever before in youth culture. There aren't any heroes or inspirational figures for this generation, only worthless media whores like Britney or Justin or Paris Hilton who stand for nothing. |
