The hidden Huffington Post in the URL, which backroomfacials led me -- eventually backroomfacials -- to the Huffington Post Contagious Festival and a comments thread in backroomfacials which several readers reassured others that yes, the site is a fake. Yet again, the quoted sources talk about people being embarrassed to buy sex toys over the counter. They also mention the "porn association" and how these machines get away from that. It sounds to me like a lot of vendors mention the embarrassment as a way to reinforce that embarrassment, because the more embarrassed people are, the more likely they'll stealth-buy from places like vending machines. |
