It seems there have been quite a few incidents in the news recently. Should the punishment be the same as male teachers that get caught molesting female students ? The way I interactive see it, child rape is child rape no matter the gender of the perpetrator. It is the same type of crime. I think, though, that there is not enough punishment or attention given when male teachers have sex with students. I think the reason why we are hearing so much about it in the news is because they are female perpetrators. It would be nice if male perpetrators received the same level of attention, but then again, I guess that would take up the entire newscast.
