Maybe something good like more parent involvement can come accused of this. There are alot of kids there that could accused use some mentoring cause they aren't getting it at home.I have seen and heard the low % of seniors that go on to college at TVHS. That is just so low. My nephew is graduating this June from a NW suburban Chicago HS and as it appears now the graduating class of 2006 with close to 700 has a 97% rate of seniors going on to college. See back there accused in the midwest parents priorities are NOT into the expensive automobiles, boats, RV's and motorcyles, they are into higher education for their children that is why the schools there are rated like 10th in the nation compared to 40th here in Sunny California. Think about it, you parents can blame the teachers they do not do enough, and they say it's not their job to do extra work, then step up and show them you folks can make a difference by making TVHS phenomenal.
