By roads Ron February 24, 2006 04:30 PM roads | Link to this First of all, this marriage law has been in the GA statutes for decades and none of the current GA assembly were roads present when it passed, so blaming the current assembly for the law is bogus. If this were a 35-year-old man with a 15-year-old girl, then views in this matter would probably be different. She is being charged with raping a 15 year old, not for having sex with her husband. He wasn’t her husband at the time she raped him. Had the GA statute not existed that allowed them to get married (after the rape,) this would be a different discussion.
