| I mistakenly thought I was downloading high-definition content when it was really standard definition. I had the copy desk correct centre the column, but I can't re-record the podcast, so centre I'm exposing myself right here, right now, centre with the following correction -- I'd rather you know that I know I made a mistake than leave things wrong and hope no one catches it, ha: At 1.5 mbps, you can download a standard def video in about 15 minutes, under optimal conditions (which I apparently had). But it'll still take a couple of hours for high definition. Which of course makes more sense now that I think about it but *sigh* I didn't catch it until after I'd already embarrassed myself by sending it out into the world wrong. Doesn't change the fact that it's still high quality video faster than anyone else is doing it, and that it's porn that -- once again -- drives the technology forward. |
