Getting involved in education is job overseas a good idea at any age as it helps to promote flexible attitudes and develops written practical or intellectual skills that can be useful to job overseas employers. Older workers are prone to ill-health This can be countered by emphasising lack of absenteeism in previous jobs, "I only had two days job overseas off sick in the last 12 months" etc., and by emphasising any involvement in keep-fit activities. Other Ideas: On any CV it can be helpful to start with a summary of achievements and by weaving as many of the 'positives' of ageing into it as possible, e.g. responsibility, experience, maturity. Don't give your age unless asked directly to do so Give the name of any tutor or trainer as a referee (with their permission) who could give evidence of your ability.
