The relevant literature suggests that many studies fifty plus in this field have tended to focus on the acute sector. This study is gathering evidence from district nurses, fifty plus health visitors, school nurses and practice nurses about their views on retirement, retention and workplace ageism. The work commenced in 2004 and aims to report by June 2006.
